LEGGIC FIT
How Tight Should Leggings Be?
Leggings can be close-fitting without being painfully restrictive. Fit, support and compression are related but not identical.

What matters
- Look for smooth contact without sharp seam pressure.
- Movement should not force you to constantly pull the garment back into place.
- Pain, numbness or restricted breathing is not a desirable fit signal.
Close fit is not the same as useful compression
A garment can feel very tight because it is simply too small, while a well-designed supportive legging may distribute pressure more evenly. Look at movement, seam strain and comfort rather than treating maximum tightness as the goal.
If pressure causes pain, numbness, skin injury or other concerning symptoms, stop using the garment. LEGGIC fit guidance is general clothing information, not medical compression advice.
Use this in practice
Compare the garment information you can verify — measurements, construction, care label and composition — with the way the pair actually behaves on your body. Avoid treating a single marketing term as a guarantee.
